I love Saturday mornings. I'm an early riser, the Husband is not, but Saturday mornings are my time to just chillax and look forward to 4 episodes of Eastenders starting at 10. That show is the bomb and makes me grateful for my life.. heh. I generally spend Saturday morning cleaning up a little, doing some laundry (each bloody load take 2 hours. Hello European washing machines) and ironing. This of course depends on the night before and how much I consumed of the alcohol. But last night was sushi and beer so all is good. In a little while I will turn on a downloaded Christmas episode of the Simpsons and feel good. But first, here's a cookie recipe that will shock and wow you. Courtesy of my sister from many years ago. Gracias.
Polar Bear Poops
3 bars of white chocolate
a handful of peanuts (optional)
a can of slightly crushed salted pringles
Sounds strange huh? Just sit back and watch the magic. Melt the chocolate in a water bath. Once completely melted pour in the pringles and peanuts and stir so that they are completely covered. Take out some wax paper and place small spoonfuls of the mixture on it. Chill for a couple of hours. You're done. Now wash out the bowl and pour your self a glass of champagne. To make them look a little fancier you can melt some dark chocolate. Dip a fork in the chocolate and then quickly fling the fork over the cookies. This should create uneven lines and should make sure you have chocolate smears on your walls. What fun!
Now it's time for me to watch my stories and crochet. Have a happy Saturday!
