So my video worked! How exciting! When I told the Husband that I was making a video he asked if I would be keeping my clothes on. He's sweet that way. We watched ski jumping last night. The Austrian team won. They all look like they are 12. I spent most of the time trying to figure out how to jazz up their outfits. I'm thinking flying Elvis.. 20 minutes with a Bedazzler and I'd make Sports Fashion history!

I have finalized my menu for the baby shower this weekend. Here it is with a little more detail:

Friends are bringing:
Borscht
Russian Salad
Booze, please

I'm making:
Pelmeni- these are meat dumplings. You make a dough with flour and water, roll it out, cut it into circles and add a meat filling. The meat filling is ground pork, ground beef and onions. I'll steam them in my Chinese steamer.
Khachapuri- this is Georgian.. This translates to "Oh My God butter pizza". It's a pizza dough, filled with a cheese mixture with butter on top. Eu Mah Gawd.
Fried mushrooms- I'm frying mushrooms
Roasted Potatoes- I'm roasting potatoes with
Vodka Sauce- I scoured the internet- I mean I looked at about 4 pages- and could only find tomato vodka sauces. Screw that- I'm making a cream based sauce with pepper and vodka.
Blinis with sour cream and caviar- blinis being mini pancakes (Remember that Klitschko commercial.. yeah.. and Hayden Panetierre is with one of them? What the?). Caviar being caviar.
Apricot chicken and rice- Meh. We'll see.

For dessert I'll make cupcakes..

It's safe to say we'll be strong like horse and smart like tractor after this meal. I've been saving that sentence for a very long time.. I was saving it for Gary Oldman but yeah, like that was going to happen.
