The Baby Shower

It's a sunny Monday morning and I'm not due back at (ex) work until tomorrow. I'm listening to Irish jigs and cleaning up. Eat your heart out Michael Flaherty.. I'm coming out with a video - Housewife of the Dance- with special features such as the vaccuum waltz and the Windex jig. Awesome. I stayed up to watch the hockey game. EPIC! The Husband slept and when the suspense got too much I'd switch to Columbo. But I came back, oh I came back.


The shower was a blast and mucho mucho sparkling wine was consumed and the conversation was lively. Here are a couple of shots of the decorations- special thanks to Kat for the flags, samovar and dolls. Thank you Comrade.

An ode to Mother Russia:

A Baby Shower should be about the woman who is about to pop. This is her day and kind of the last time to just chill with her friends for a while.. I just made her do the dishes and the heavy lifting. I'm sweet that way. Stay tuned for more pictures and recipes from the shower!
