A Passion for Fashion

Hello Friday! I bought tulips yesterday for 3.99 Euros for ten. They are still sleeping but I know they are going to open this afternoon and rock. I'm going to be in a parade tomorrow- this is like my worst nightmare. I'm outgoing and talkative but I hate being stared out. I can't handle lots of people looking at me. It gives me the heebie jeebies. I'm not a looker so the only reason people are gawking at me is most likely my weirdly deformed toes and/or I'm having a wardrobe malfunction. Gah! And I have to carry a banner! I'll get you Kat for roping me in! Vengeance is mine! See you at 10:30 tomorrow. Kisses.

Anyway, another friend that I have sworn revenge on is my dear friend Alix. She suggested I watch The Rachel Zoe Project. You can't do this to me! I'm freaking hooked and I keep wanting to say BANANAS and starve myself. Why Alix? Why? Thank you. I love this show. Regardless of all the negative publicity she's gotten, I think she's a pretty amazing stylist. Watch an episode and see what she comes up with. The lady's got a vision and there's no denying it.

I was watching the episode where she sells a bunch of her jewellery for charity and she shows her closet o' Jewels and then I look at my mishmash of stuff in the closet, beside my bed, at the computer desk in the bathroom and raged "NO MORE!". So I organised it. Here's a pic of my necklaces.

Yay! Organisation! I can see what I have and what I now want and need. Ignore that last sentence dear husband. A lot of the pieces I got from my mom, some from the Husband and friends and some I bought for myself. I spent the evening hammering hooks in the wall. Neighbours were overjoyed and I was waiting for the doorbell to ring so I could shout "It's Art! Leave me alone!". But they didn't. My earrings are sorted, my watches, my rings, my brooches, my bracelets. So so fun!

So my new business plan is to become a personal stylist. I'll raid your closet and revamp your look for a decent price. Live in the Vienna Austrian Tristate area? Give me a call.

Happy Friday!

  1. Okay, whoa. I just stayed up awake until 2AM watching the Rachel Zoe Project. I fell in love the moment that biatch bought her 3rd Birkin. I always thought I disliked her, but I love the show and her! You should be a stylist!! You'd be so great. You can be Zoe and I'll be the poor sister Pammy who flies in and shops at H&M... ;)
