Won't Somebody Think of the Children?!

Hey all! I was going to write something yesterday but I felt like death. I'm not sure why and today I'm still a leetle tired.. I call it post traumatic firing. Anywho. A while ago I mentioned I would start a series about crafts for the little ones and here is one thing I worked on.
A tutu for the child.

This was super easy and fast and I wish it fit me because I would so rock this... Take some tulle, ribbon and a Vogue Enfants that came with the French Vogue I bought (magazine not necessary to this craft)

Take a rectanglar piece of tulle, fold it over in half. For the waist band, fold over a 4 inch section and sew to secure it. Once done, pull a ribbon through the waist band and there you have it, a tutu. This one's black so your precious will be the black swan in Swan Lake.

Apropos Swan Lake.. I think I am ready to see it again. 1o years have passed and the memory of having to see it 4 times in Russia in one season still haunts me. By performance number 4 I felt like screaming "Just shoot the effing swan damnit!". I heart culture.

Happy Friday!!
