It's Mah Birthday

It's my birthday. I'm 29. I'm surprised I lasted this long. How am I dealing with today? I'm calm..

WHY GOD??! WHY?!! YOU PROMISED ME ETERNAL LIFE!

Anywho. I already got one bday present from my fabulicious friend Tony, a cupcake book! cupcake silicone tins! cupcake stand! HOLLA! I am so excited! I can't wait to start making the cupcakes. Yay! Project!

Another thing that I am stoked about is that the Opernball is tonight. The Opernball is Austria's most traditional and glitzy ball of the season and it is amaaazing. One day I'll go. One day. Every year an international celebrity is invited to the ball as a guest of Richard Lugner (an old construction tycoon whose personal life adds a little spice to the otherwise dull high society. I'm complimentary. I want Lohan's ticket). Speaking of the Lohan... Lugner has invited in the past: Pamela Anderson (while dating Kid Rock), Dita Von Teese (love her), Nicolette Sheridan, Paris Hilton (Fab yellow ball dress), Joan Collins (Hell yeah!), Sophia Loren (my personal favourite) and the list goes on. This year Lindsey Lohan was invited. She missed her flight. She ain't coming. Now I'm pizzed. Not for the Lugners and not for the ball peeps but for one woman. The designer of the dress that the Lohan was going to wear. Yesterday she was on an Austrian morning show and she was young and up and coming and this was going to be her moment. Bah! I'm annoyed. It's time for some of these celebrities to wise up and take responsibility. It's not only about you. But today it is about me cuz it's mah birthday..

My favourite birthday memories as a kid was when my parents would wake me up with a cake and sing happy birthday. I'd get to open presents and eat chocolate cake in bed which I think is how every morning should be spent. Tonight the Husband is taking me out for dinner and for the first birthday out of the 8 birthdays we've spent together I'm not having pizza. There, I'm mature now. Pass me some Tolstoy and a cigar. I'm old.
