So today is the day of the great annual Halloween Partay.. Decorations are up and a big chunk of the food has been prepared. Here is the menu for ce soir:
Turkey pot pie
Ground Beef Chili
Spinach Dip (I always make this)
Pumpkin Cornbread
Stuffing with gravy
Mac and Cheese
Wonton cups with mushrooms
Fusili with homemade pesto
Mini Pizzas
Mini Caprese sticks
Holy geez was it a night of culinary angst. It's almost all done and then this afternoon this lady can take a nap. My energy level is a lot lower than it has been in the past. When it's bed time I tend to throw myself onto the bed like a walrus as it seems my T-Rex arms cannot support my body weight. I'm a sexy sexy beast.
Last night G finally got to see Project Runway. An Austrian channel was showing an episode, much to my delight. The Husband, of course, disagreed with the judges. "Who does this Zac Posen think he is?" and "Who on earth is Michael Kors?" I had to silence him with a well placed throw of my show lest he upset the designer Gods.. Sigh..
I better head back to the kitchen and dice and slice and get ready to partay!
