Golden Globes! Holla! I could have watched it since I was up most of the night but instead I read the Fugly Girls on New York Magazine.. Lucy pushed me onto the Fugly Girls a couple of years ago and they are highlarious.. Since I am Shamu and in no way affiliated with Hollywood, this little blogger has decided to talk about some of the gowns yo..
Here we go: Pictures from the Daily Telegraph UK (I didn't write "hit")
Now, I like green but I'm not sure about this dress. It has a Jackie Collins feel. We need a fountain stat.. And a nemesis.. Oh who's that below?
A worthy opponent is found in Anne Hathaway.. People are raving about this and it fits her like a glove but I feel like I'm on Dynasty..
Green again.. I'm glad to see that navy is not the top colour this year.. Elizabeth Moss also wore a green dress. Maybe it's how it is photographed but it looks like crepe paper..
Oh Helena.. I love you.. I really do.. I love that you are with Tim Burton.. This is a Vivienne Westwood, who may have used a glue gun to "cocktail up" the dress... Shine on you crazy diamond..
Julianne Moore is gawgeous. The pink is stunning.. The sleeve looks removable or maybe she's jonesing for a duel.. The sleeve bugs me.. Put it away.
Natalie Portman is gamine and beautiful and seems like a pretty awesome person to hang with.. Knowing she's pregnant, I applaud her for not wearing a potato sack but I just don't like this at all.. It's like Malibu barbie has retired to Miami.. The rose, it brings back child hood memories.
There she is "Miss America!"... The dress is princessy and beautiful but I'm not a fan.. The sound it makes is probably "crunchy".
Tilda? I think you stole one of my first sewing projects.. The skirt looks like it has an elastic waist band.. I'm confused and I hate feeling that way..
So those are some of the ones I didn't really like.. But who am I to judge, I can barely face putting on a bra..
Happy Monday!
