Christmas Eve Day

HO HO HO!
Finally Christmas.. Finally. It's been a long time coming and I need to talk myself into getting into the Christmas spirit again. I even watched a made for TV Christmas film with Tori Spelling and William Shatner.. My spirit will come back!!

Tonight we'll be at the in laws for dinner and then I'll be calling my parents when I get home. I'm a little bummed out to be missing Christmas with the parental units and my siblings but the immense pile of gifts under the tree are making me feel slightly better. Tomorrow the Husband and I will exchange gifts after having cheese fondue. I CANNOT WAIT! PRESENTS!!

We're guinea pig sitting for some friends and I feel kind of bad I didn't buy the three something for Christmas. Should I regift? I put a little Christmas tree beside their cage (used to belong to Miss Money Bunny) to make them feel all holiday-like but I don't think they're buying it. Don't Judge Me you guys! Here, have a carrot. Oh, and these guys run fast. Rodent Olympics anyone?

The Husband is out last minute shopping and I'm still in flannel but will have to head to the store soon. Here in this great Alpine country everything closes over the holidays so one has to stock up. Champagne? Check! Tampons? Check!

I was going to write about my favourite presents of yester years but I'm tired and there's another Christmas TV film on. This one's about a mannequin who becomes real and hooks up with a guy who I think owns the department store. Well done doll! Uh oh. She's now back to being a doll. Oh wait, the little girl cried and now the doll is back. The little girl is the daughter of the guy that the doll hooked up with. There are all kind of potentials for a sequel film, or in real life, uncomfortable innuendos at future family gatherings.

Uncle Steve: So Bob, your new girlfriend's pretty hot.
Man with former doll girlfriend: Yeah. She's pretty amazing. She used to be a doll.
Uncle Steve: Score.

Time to dehair and get ready for the general public.
