Sigh. Christmas is over. I'm sad.. But I got some amazing gifts from The Husband. He got my clue that I wanted a sewing machine.. Yay! Upon opening it, he grasped my hand and said "Please don't hurt yourself using this.". He's sweet and he's right. I have a history of klutziness.
The Husband outdid himself this year. Besides the traditional lingerie of slutty proportions, he bought me two purses. One is a fake crocodile "Kelly" bag in black that I love and the other is a fake suede purple tote. Smart man. I love these purses. He also replenished my Nespresso capsule stock and added two Lush bath bombs which will leave me smelling fruity and leave my bathtub with rings. I got a pair of earrings and a pair of ankle boots as well as a Casablanca DVD and the Nanny Diaries.
Now, a few months ago I saw a Wii game about cheerleading. The 10 year old in me was pretty excited. Being a diplobrat I attended international schools. Cheerleading only existed in films about cheerleading. Oh how I wanted to be cheerleader.. but it was not to be. Sigh. I do remember at my school in Moscow when one winter we decided to start a discus team. The 5 of us had one "white" discus (this is important to the story). We went out to the snowy field and up stepped one guy with the discus. He threw it, he was good. Then we couldn't find it and that was the end of the discus team. So anyway, yesterday the Husband got me the Cheerleading Wii game and I am so excited. I'm going to start wearing my hair in ponytails and wear short skirts. Oh wait. I already do.
It has been a great Christmas and on Monday I am going to do some shopping with the money I got from the father in law. Yay! This afternoon we are having friends over for Raclette and I'll explain it in another post when I have more time!
The three guinea pigs are having a conversation and I wish I knew what they were talking about. I wish I hadn't given up Latin in school..
