Oh Boy Oh Boy! I'm so excited! Besides the fact that I have to work on a Saturday, I just had someone post a pic on my Facebook page and BOOM! inspiration is back! Thank you Sarah!! The picture is from Etsy (google it- it's an awesome site!) and is of a hand painted shoe. Beautiful! Stunning. I have yet to make my spray paint shoes but this picture has inspired me for my marketing "competition". Oh boy! Every couple of months I'll get a SHABAM moment and I am unstoppable. Oh Boy! Why do I have to go to work todaaaaayyy? Whine whine. I want to get started on this project ASAP. I won't go into details maintenant but it is going to awesome! Thank you Sarah! Picture to come in a couple of months.. :/
Inspiration is everywhere for me. I'm addicted to the neenernet (internet) and constantly find amazing things. Since I'm cheap and the Husband doesn't allow me to own a credit card (this is a smart thing, trust me) I try and recreate things that I see. As I have mentioned in the past, flea markets are a great source for cheap ideas. An old rusty watering can? Scrape it down, paint it and use it as a vase. Old riding boots? Secure them on a wooden platform and use them as an umbrella stand in your hallway. Broken violin? Take off the strings, mount it on the wall and fill the hole with plastic bags for grocery shopping. I just came up with these ideas now because I am buzzing with excitement! Always carry some sort of notebook with you. I have a great day planner the Husband bought me for Christmas. Every year I get one from him. I am lost without it and use it everyday at least 15 times a day. At work I carry it with me everywhere so that if I think of something, I can write it down. It's a good habit to have.
I better get a move on and think about brushing my hair.
Happy Crafting!
