Party Food

I wasn't sure what the title should be for this post so I named it party food. Once again I am working on a blasted public holiday. We got snow. Lots and lots of snow and it is purdy but I know that in a day it will be mushy and gross and grey and I will be sad.

I started reading the Goddess Guide last night and found out why Louboutin shoes are red on the sole. Wait for it... His assistant used to wear red lipstick and red nail polish to work. One day he borrowed her nail polish and painted the bottom of a shoe. Wait, what? That's it? The man's French for God's sake! Couldn't his story been a little more dramatic?!!

Christian L: I was inspired by zee night my fother found my mother in bed wit er lover. My fother stabbed zee lover and my mother walked through zee blood wit er black shoes et voila.

That's a story Mr. Louboutin! Work on that ok? (If I ever meet you Mr. Louboutin, creator of fabulous shoes, I apologize. I love you. Give me shoes. Kiss.) Anyway, I'm liking the book. Some interesting tips and tricks. Go buy it or borrow it from me.

So, back to topic. Here's a simple and extremely rich flourless, fudgey, chocolately cake thing. I call it: The Flourless Fudgey Cake

The Flourless Fudgey Cake:
2 bars of dark chocolate. I use 70% Lindt
1 tbsp of cocoa
2 eggs
half a cup of sugar
half a cup of butter
half a cup of cream

Melt the chocolate and butter together. Mix in all the ingredients until smooth. Put mixture in a buttered baking dish and bake at 180 until solid. About 15-20 minutes. Just look at it and see. This is extremely rich so I warned you. You can play around with the chocolate too. Try different percentages or even try the Lindt chili chocolate. To cut down on sugar, use sweetener instead. It is so so so good.

It has stopped snowing for now but I's got a feeling we're in for more. I checked the forecast, hence the feeling.
