I've really got to get back into blogging.. I apologize for not writing more often. Who am I apoligizing to? No clue. My mom reads this.. and a while ago a Gabriel Byrne fan.. Speaking of actors I adore, I watched the last half of Patriot Games last night in mute. I loved this film as a teenager. Seriously.. Harrison Ford and Sean Bean. Love sammich.. Me in the middle. Sigh. Anyway, I love that house. It's gorge.. And I like how he works a government job and affords that house. Would I love to live in that house now? Sure! I don't drive so I'd create a bus route directly outside to take me into the city. And it would take like 10 minutes. Back to the film...
There's a scene at the end where Ann Archer is hiding in her WALK IN closet (come on!) and a bad person with night vision is coming up the stairs to like kill her and she grabs this huge shot gun.. And all I was thinking was, I'd do the same if bastard terrorists ruined my dinner party. That's hot. The Jersey Shore party is coming up! I'm almost done decorating and I think I won't be able to make the duck phone. I tried.. it ain't working. Unfortunately not a lot of people are attending but I'm sure it will still be a blast.
I have (of course) changed up the menu slightly. I have the Sopranos cookbook (buy it if you love the Sopranos, it's a cool book) and have been inspired by a couple of recipes. So, the final final menu is:
Thick crust pizza
Baked rigatoni with mini meatballs
Alfredo Linguine
Caesar Salad
Lemon Chicken
Garlic Bread
And Alix is making a cake in Jersey Shore style so I'm pretty pumped. Speaking of Jersey and Alix, she has turned me on to the Real Housewives of New Jersey. I spent 2 days catching up and I am hooked. If you like reality TV and you like (to make fun of) New Jersey, this show is for you. I have an accent after watching it and I'm really tempted to have children and name them Mario, Joey, and Gia. It's a trainwreck show. I've also started watching The Real Housewives of New York (dammit Alix) and it's a blast too. Episode 3 Season one two Jews shopping- seriously the scene was like my mother and I shopping... Highlarious..
Today I have a "course" from 1 to 5 and this time I get to learn how to apply for jobs. Wow. Somebody put me out of my misery!
Happy Monday
