Hola! Wow. Crazy times.. The thing that I was going to announce on Friday hasn't happened yet so I'm patiently waiting (read: banging head against desk in frustration) but I have faith. I've been hit with a craptastic cold. Summer colds are one of those things that somebody invented to just be an ass. I'm looking hot. Heat rash, phlegmy cough, bloat.. come ere Husband, let's make out.
This cold has lead me to have awesome and disturbing dreams. The one last night:
Scene: a bus in Toronto. Me (thin and cute in this dream) is checking each station nervously. George Clooney walks on.
George: Hey.
Me: Hey.
George: You look a little nervous.. Everything alright?
Me: Some funny and witty comment
George: I bet you break a lot of hearts. Do you have time for a drink?
Me: I wish I could but I have a job interview at the zoo.
End dream. Cue- me waking up and swearing audibly.
Gah! So I only have a couple of weeks left for these courses. Thank Jeebus. We're also petsitting the guinea pigs again. They are pretty funny and my favourite is when I go in to get one and they run in panic. I'm like God. An evil evil God.
I have a couple of projects to work on these next few weeks. I bought a Burberry style piece of fabric that I am going to make into a quasi short cape for the Fall. I cannot wait to figure out how to actually make it. Other than that, I need to beat this killer cold and learn to stay awake for a few consecutive hours.
