Random Thoughts

So, I got the Skinny Italian book from Teresa Giudice from New Jersey Housewives. Jeebus. I love it! There are some great recipes and there's nothing quite like opening a new cook book. I don't follow recipes as I've said but I get inspiration from the photos.. I can't wait to try some of the pasta sauces.

My phone died.. It was for the best.. I was able to find my self bedazzled phone from 3 years ago. I am so classy. The number is the same but my voice will be all the more cooler because of the crystal delight in my hand.

Only a couple more days until the party and the place is still a mess. I've been Paris Hiltoning and been out every night and I forget what the husband looks like. But tonight is date night and we're going to my favourite Italian (Turkish) restaurant in the 1st. It's called Cantinetta La Norma and I take a lot of people there. I love the interior- it's covered in Frescoes and it's tiny and the owner is lovely. The food is not bad and the prices are reasonable. My parents and I go there when they visit and when they visit next (cough cough, hopefully soon), I have a couple of new places I want to take them too. One I'll pay for, the other they can treat me because I'm like their favourite. Right, parental units? Right. Glad we cleared that up.

There is something happening on the horizon. I'll be able to announce it next Friday. It's not to do with pregnancy, Debra. But it's something I've been hoping for for a while and life just has a funny way of sorting itself out. Life is good.. (besides the fact that 3 times a week I have to go to enforced courses and pretend to apply as a housecleaner). So, anywho.. Stay tuned for next Friday's announcement. It'll be huge because it is about me.

Speaking of Debra, she is the soap queen. She's my dealer, yo. If you want to learn everything about soap making, hit her up for lessons (pay her, she's worth it). I don't take them because I have the attention span of an underaged former Disney star burnout. But she's great so do it. She recently passed on sugar scrubs that she made.. A+ these are great! and so pretty.

It's time for me to hit the crosstrainer and think about my future life as a successful ____.
