Projects in the Works

I have finally finished the nursery.. Not that the kid will be sleeping in it for a couple of months since he'll be hanging out in our room where I will most likely be standing over the crib all night making sure he's breathing. I'm paranoid. Seriously.. I have about 4 weeks to go and I kind of hope I miscalculated the due date and that he's actually due tomorrow. Sweet Jeebus I'M HUGE! I had a great time at my baby shower and I will not be posting pictures of myself as I resembled an overweight drag queen channelling Liza Minelli. Le Sigh. But here are some pictures of the room that our child will be chilling in..



I'm happy with it.. The third picture is our desk converted into a change table.. A little bit of fabric, a glue gun and velcro and voila. It's nicer than our bedroom and now I feel like I need to work on ours a little bit but I've promised the Husband I will not be climbing ladders for a little while.. Stupid promises.

    It just looks strange without cobwebs, skeletons, and gators. Well done! One suggestion I would make is get a small electric kettle so you have access to sterile water without going to the kitchen.
