The Husband doesn't read books.. He reads the newspaper on the weekend so he can read which is a relief. He'll buy 2 or 3 papers and spend a couple of hours on the balcony on a Saturday and Sunday morning, folding over pages that might interest me.. Oh how he is cute.. but the dino exhibit for our anniversary ain't going to cut it. Kisses.. He also is fond of the TV guide. I'm sure I've mentioned before how he will bring an Austrian tv guide on holiday so that he can see what he's missing..
The other day he looked through the guide and saw that Knight Rider was on- an episode featuring K.A.R. (I think that's how one spells it). Oh boy did this make him excited.
Me: Who the hell is K.A.R.?
G: (rolling eyes) Um, just like K.I.T.T.'s biggest enemy. He's a newer version of a super smart car. He's evil though.
Me: Sweet Jeebus.. I've spent over nine years of my life with you.
He put on the show and saw it was the new version of Knight Rider and wow was he not pleased.
G: K.I.T.T.'s barely on! What the hell?
T: There he is!
G: (rolling eyes) That's K.A.R., can't you see his "talking light" is a different colour? Seriously.
T: Oh my gawd. I've spent over nine years of my life with you.
He eventually turned it off in disgust when he realised the new version is crap. I held my tongue. It's great that we have different interests. Keeps it fresh.
