My 30th

Wow! Yesterday was my birthday and it was the big 3-0. If I wasn't pregnant, I probably would have been booking Botox sessions and doing morning Tequila shots. Instead, I spent most of the day in sweats and surfing online. The Husband came home in the late afternoon and gave me my present. PRADA sunglasses! I could not believe it. This is a guy who bought me a toy electric boat for our first Christmas together. After years of oohing and aahing over everything designer, the Husband finally caught on. I'm impressed.. Uber impressed.. I want to turn 30 every year.

The plan for the evening was to have a quiet dinner out and instead I walked into the restaurant and saw a large group of my friends. I was so touched. I was so unbelievably surprised. My spidey senses are obviously dead as I usually am pretty good at figuring stuff out. What else is the Husband hiding? Meh, who cares.. I had an awesome surprise party. I could not have imagined a nicer surprise and I am getting all emotional thinking about it. It truly was an awesome birthday.. Thank you everyone!

The birth date is this Thursday and to be honest I am not looking forward to it.. at all. Sure I want to meet the squirt but hospitals terrify me and I will be happy when I know the kid is a-ok and the painkillers kick in and I am finally home.. That is all..

But at least I am still on a high from the surprise last night! My life rocks! Truly!
