A few years ago I went on a business trip to Paris. I did not eat on said trip as I wanted to save as much money as I could to go shopping. I stocked up at a cheapy store on great stuff- dresses I still wear today. Of all the purchases I made, my favourite is a silk tunic dress I bought. It is brightly coloured, 3/4 length bell sleeves and square necked. It is short but works in the summer and winter (with tights). I can't find it right now otherwise I would post a picture..
The fit is super flattering and instead of spending too much time searching for a similar dress (I's got things to do), I decided to make my own. I've so far have made two. Here is the template. Taking packing paper, I traced out the front and back. As well as seperate sleeves. This is pretty much the only pattern I can follow..Hamsters could follow this pattern..

The Sleeves (two sleeves in one piece: cut in the middle)

Then taking material, I used chalk and traced again. 4 pieces in all. I changed the neckline for a different look. And there it is. Royal blue in stretchy material. I love love love the back of the dress and it is super comfortable. It was surprisingly simple. I dare you to try it. DARE YOU! Just outline your favourite dress and you're laughin.. Laughin all the way to an awesome new dress. Holla!

And now I must spend the rest of the day dreaming of our upcoming Halloween party and picturing myself thin.. Tuesdays are fun..
