Projects in the Works

Hello Sunday. Hello Mr. Sofa, let me introduce to Mrs. Ass. Aahh. A grey cold Sunday. Perfect. Yesterday was uber productive. I went to work then the Husband and I went for a bagel dinner and then I got started on my marketing project. I hope to be finished by today and I am excited. I'll have to write up a report to go with it and if I don't win this thing then it's rigged, man.

Right now Little Women is on. The film with Winona Ryder, Christian Bale, Claire Danes, Kirsten Dunst, and Susan Sarandon. Meh. I'm a little confused because when I read the book I'm pretty sure Betty or Betsy or whoever, died. But she's still alive in this film and I'm really not sure if that's right? I better Wikipedia this because it's really bugging me. Ech. Wait! Is that Gabriel Byrne? What the??

Anyway, I got up early this morning and decided to finish one project that I've been meaning to complete since I got my sewing machine. I give you the apron! I didn't make the apron. Oh no. I did not. But I bought this a few years ago and always wanted to change it up a bit. And I did today. I added a pink ribbon on the top and bottom hem. Yup!

I think it adds a little je ne sais quoi. I love brown and pink together.. Not sure why but I do. Aprons are a great thing to have in the kitchen. They are kind of retro but I'm a fan of the past- not in the Stepford way but in terms of style and fashion.

I'm glad I finished the above project. Now I can dedicate myself to the 10 other things I have to complete. I started on some Russian baby shower crafts which I will post pictures of at a later date. I don't want to ruin the surprise so I'll have to wait until after the partay.

Happy Sunday!
